These Five Simple Steps Are All You Need to Create an FBA Business

By now, you’ve heard about all of the benefits that Amazon’s Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) service has to offer.

Now, I want to talk to you about setting up.

There are five steps that all sellers need to take with FBA.

And here’s the real trick.

Two of those steps take place before you even open your FBA account.

Here they are.

Step 1 – Choose Your Product

This is the toughest step of the lot. When choosing your product, you have to find something for which there’s a demand that’s going unfulfilled. You have to find manufacturers who can offer quality and reliability.

Plus, you have to consider what other sellers have on offer. After all, there’s no point adding another product to a saturated market.

Step 2 – Choose Your Niche

Once you have a product, it’s time to choose your niche.

Going too broad can lead to your product getting lost in the shuffle. But narrowing things down too much could mean that nobody can find what you’re selling.

Step 3 – Open Your FBA Account

Finally, you’re going to start working with FBA.

You need to create a seller’s account on Amazon. This is a pretty simple process as the website walks you through all of the details.

Once you’re set up, it’s time to get your products online.

Step 4 – Create Your Listing

A poor listing won’t attract buyers. You need to share enough information to get people interested without overloading the page.

Pick some great high-definition images as well. A grainy image does nothing to showcase what your product has to offer.

Step 5 – Set Your Shipping

This is where FBA really comes into its own. With FBA, you can offer free shipping for selected products. Plus, Prime users get the choice of free two-day shipping on all FBA products.

On your end, you get a choice between sending case packed or individual products to the fulfilment centre. Case packed works when you send items in bulk, whereas individual is the best choice if you need to keep items individually packaged.

That’s all there is to setting up on FBA.

But that only covers the basics. There’s so much more to learn if you’re going to get the most out of FBA.

That’s where I can help you. At A To Z Formula, we can help you choose products and develop a profitable strategy.
