How Lori Dumped Her PA Job to Start Working From Home

Brendan Elias 5 min read

Lori was stuck in a 9-to-5 PA role until she discovered Amazon FBA and built a business that let her work from home.

Lori's story is one that resonates with so many people who feel trapped in jobs that don't fulfil them. For years, she worked as a personal assistant — long hours, someone else's schedule, and very little time left over for the things that mattered most to her.

Like many people, Lori had always dreamed of working for herself. She wanted the flexibility to set her own hours, the freedom to work from home, and the satisfaction of building something that was truly hers. But she didn't know where to start, and the idea of leaving the security of a regular paycheck was terrifying.

That changed when Lori discovered the A to Z Formula program. The idea of selling products on Amazon through the FBA model appealed to her because it didn't require a huge upfront investment, she could learn the ropes while still working her day job, and Amazon handled the logistics that she didn't have experience with.

Lori started small, spending her evenings and weekends researching products and learning the A to Z Formula system. She found her first product — a practical household item that had steady demand on Amazon — and placed her first order with a manufacturer in China.

When her first product launched on Amazon, Lori was nervous. But the orders started coming in, slowly at first, then more consistently. Within a few months, her Amazon income was growing steadily. She reinvested her profits into a second product, then a third.

The turning point came when Lori realised her Amazon business was generating enough income to replace her PA salary. After careful consideration, she made the decision to leave her job and go full-time with her Amazon business. It was one of the scariest — and best — decisions of her life.

Today, Lori works from home, sets her own schedule, and has the freedom she always dreamed of. She's a regular in the A to Z Formula community, encouraging other members who are just starting out. Her advice to anyone thinking about starting an Amazon business? "Just start. The first step is the hardest, but everything gets easier from there."
