Bezos Unveils “Valor” In Tribute to Army Veterans

The men and women who fight for our country are wonderful people.

They put their lives on the line so that we can enjoy all of the privileges of a free society.

It’s because of their sacrifices that you have the opportunity to start your own business and live the life of your dreams.

Despite this, many veterans struggle with life after the army, especially in the United States.

It’s in these moments that they need support from the people whom they’ve served so bravely.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos recognises this.

He’s always been a big supporter of veterans in his home country.

In fact, he hires thousands of military veterans after their service.

And now, he’s honoured them in a brand new way.

In November, Amazon unveiled a new Boeing 767 freighter. It’s the 40th in the company’s fleet and it will play a crucial role in helping the company to transport products all over the world.

Who knows?

Maybe one of your products will end up on that very plane one day.

Bezos unveiled the freighter on Veteran’s Day in the United States. Appropriately, he also christened it Valor.

That’s in honour of both the veterans who now work with Amazon and the many thousands more who’ve fought for the United States.

Here’s the best part.

Bezos didn’t choose the name himself.

Instead, he left that task to Warriors@Amazon, which is a special employee affinity group that helps the company’s veterans.

This comes off the back of Bezos’ 2016 pledge to hire 25,000 military veterans (or their spouses) from 2016 to 2021. They’d join the 10,000 who already count themselves as part of Amazon’s ranks.

It’s wonderful to see that Bezos works so hard to help such an important group of people.

With their help, Amazon will continue to run like clockwork.

And that can only benefit you as a seller.

I want you to make the most of the freedom to live the life you want to live. Starting your own Amazon business can get you there.
