Making money with Amazon FBA while on holiday

Lots of Amazon sellers agree that the best thing about this business is the free time it gives you.

Working from home means you can set your own schedule. Since you don’t answer to anyone, you can take time off whenever you need to.

That’s right. You can finally take the holiday you always dreamed about.

But does that mean you have to stop selling?

It depends on who is handling the fulfilment of your sales.

If it’s your job to ship items and handle customer service, you can’t just take off for holiday. After all, Amazon penalizes late customer service responses.

So, in this case you need to hire help or turn your Amazon listings to Inactive. This means you can’t make sales while you’re away.

But if you use Fulfilment by Amazon, business can go on while you take a break.

FBA stores and ships your products for you. Amazon also handles your customer service.

In other words, FBA sales aren’t affected by your absence.

If you want to travel the world for business or for pleasure, I urge you to give FBA a try.

However, FBA isn’t available for every product.

It can also be too expensive if you don’t have healthy margins.

I don’t recommend going for this option if you have stock that sells slowly. The storage fees can pile up and you’ll have to offer massive discounts to clear it out.

Additionally, you may find it more confusing to keep track of your inventory when you have to think about FBA storage deadlines.

Now, I don’t want to discourage you. FBA is a great choice for most sellers. It can give you the personal freedom you always wanted.

But you have to go in with both eyes open.

If you’re not sure if using FBA is the best option for you, I might be able to help. Join us on a FREE webinar now and we’ll go over any questions you might have.

In particular, we can talk about the best ways to choose products that will sell quickly.

Why not take advantage of every opportunity Amazon has to offer? With a little help, you can accomplish the lifestyle you always hoped for.
