How a 40 Year Old Cancer Survivor Turned $5,000 Into Over $201,120 Income In His Home Based Business

Mario Scavuzzo had an idea.

He wanted to start his own business selling on eBay, and more important, on Amazon.

He wrote a list of 10 product ideas that he thought might sell, and was quietly confident about his future.

But then, disaster struck.

A kidney cancer diagnosis set his plans back. Thankfully, he survived the cancer and decided to reignite his passion for selling online.

Mario chose products, and then placed an order for 100 units.

After quickly creating a logo, he used a variety of marketing techniques to build interest.

These techniques included a few simple ads on Amazon. He also used promo codes to get his product selling.

His total investment was $5,000.

In less than a month, he’d made almost $2,000 from selling the product at $19.99 apiece.

That was just the start.

The next month, he made $4,000 from sales.

In the third month, he made $6,000.

During his first year of selling, he generated $50,000 in revenue.

During his second year, he doubled that figure.

Today, his import business generates $200,000 per year.

All of this from a $5,000 initial investment.

How did Mario do it?

TIP #1: Research many products

A product will only sell when there’s demand for it. So, how do you determine demand?

Amazon offer tools that can help you. Create a list of products that you’re interested in and research them using the platform you’ll use to sell.

Use the search terms that you’d use if you wanted to buy the product. If lots of results appear, there’s usually a demand for that product.

Use this to inform your decision about which product to import.

TIP #2: Select a reliable manufacturer

What you’re looking for is a reliable manufacturer. This isn’t always the most expensive manufacturer either. Plenty of factories that fall in the mid-range of your quotes can offer quality in this area.

It all comes down to the conversations that you have during the initial stages. If your vendor seems cold and unresponsive in the early stages, they’ll probably carry that through to later on. If they refuse to offer a sample, you’re setting yourself up for trouble too.

You’re looking for a friendly relationship with a vendor who’s there when you need them. Show them that you have mutual social and business objectives. From there, you can build a working relationship that benefits both parties in the long run.

This is how you go from selling a successful product to BUILDING a business.

How do I know?

Because I’m the guy who taught Mario almost everything he knows!

My name is Brendan Elias.

I’m the author of The Amazon Lifestyle.

I’m a professional seller on Amazon.

I have months when I sell $67,000 worth of goods and more - without running my Amazon business full time.

And it's without the 20% profit margin conventional businesses aim for i.e. it's mostly profit.

I'm also an Amazon educator.

Tens of thousands of people per month attend my events, watch my videos and participate in my Masterclasses.

And if I don't have your attention yet, consider this...

… over 70,000 people worldwide make $100,000 a year or more on Amazon.

70,000 people is a huge number of people. That’s the MCG ¾ full or Stadium Australia almost completely full.

And many of them are doing it from the comfort of their homes, part-time to fit in around their busy lives.

Which means, if you want to protect your retirement … selling on Amazon is a very real opportunity.

It’s not a pie in the sky dream.

It’s very real and very achievable.

I have done it.

And I have taught others, just like you how to do it.

And you know what?

We all had one thing in common.

An irresistible desire to live a life of complete and total freedom.

Brendan Elias

Brendan has been importing products from China since 2001. He built a 7-figure a year business by selling the imported products on eBay and Amazon working as little as 10 hours per week. For the last 10 years, he has been teaching people to run their own business from home by importing goods from China and selling them locally. In that time some students have replaced their incomes, brought new money into their households and some have even become millionaires.
