Exploding Kittens: The Card Game That’s Taking Amazon by Storm

I’ve spoken before about the awesome job the Cards Against Humanity guys did with building their business using Amazon.

With a clever idea and some private labelling, they’ve built a business that’s generating millions of dollars every year.

They also showed so many people what’s possible if you have a clever card game and an Amazon seller’s account.

Now, there’s a new card game that’s taking Amazon by storm.

Say hello to Exploding Kittens.

Straight away, you can tell that this is a weird game.

According to creators Matt Inman and Elan Lee, it’s “…A card game for people who are into kittens and explosions and laser beams and sometimes goats.”

That…doesn’t make things any clearer.

But I’m not here to talk about the game itself. I want to focus on its success.

Inman and Lee followed a similar path to the guys behind Cards Against Humanity.

They came up with an idea for a game and immediately put it on a crowdfunding website.

In this case, they used Kickstarter.

People bought into the idea and they ended up with one of the most backed ideas in Kickstarter history.

Then, they turned to Amazon.

They made their game available for sale and immediately started earning thousands of dollars every month.

Then came the brainwave.

The duo negotiated directly with Amazon to get their product featured during Prime Day.

They broke Amazon’s pre-order record with that little stunt.

Today, it’s one of Amazon’s top sellers in the Toys and Games category. Matt and Elan have sold over 2.5 million decks and generated somewhere in the region of $50 million in revenue.

Not bad for a card game about exploding kittens. And goats.

It just goes to show how one great product idea can change your life.

And with Amazon at your fingertips, there’s no excuse for not getting started.

You just need a little help to find the right products so that you can create an amazing business of your own.

That’s where A to Z Formula comes in.
