5 Factors That Help You Find Niche Products With Low Competition

Do you know the true secret to succeeding as an Amazon seller?

It’s all about creating great products that fill a niche that nobody’s serving.

If you can find the perfect balance between demand and lack of competition, you have a product that could make you thousands of dollars.

That leaves you with a question.

How do you find the perfect niche product?

There’s so much research that goes into picking a great product to sell. But I’m going to let you into a little secret by looking at five factors that great niche products tend to have in common.

Factor #1 – It Solves a Problem

This is something that all great products do. Your customers have problems that they need solving. That’s why they’re looking to buy in the first place.

Any good niche product will solve a problem. More importantly, it’ll solve a problem that a lot of people haven’t really identified as a problem.

Factor #2 – It’s Difficult for Buyers to Source Locally

You’re looking for something that isn’t sold at major retailers.

This means it’s not something that a buyer could just pick up at the store while they’re out shopping. They have to search online for it, which means there’s more chance of them coming across your product.

Factor #3 – It’s Not Expensive

This is the key difference between a niche product and a luxury item.

The more expensive the product, the lower the demand for it. Plus, it’s going to cost you more to make. And it’s probably going to be more complex, which means more issues with returns for you.

You want something that’s inexpensive to make and that you can sell at a good price.

Factor #4 – Low Turnover

You have to put too much work into a product that needs updating every few months.

A great niche product is evergreen. That means it never goes out of fashion.

Factor #5 – They’re Consumable

You want customers to buy from you again and again. If your product lasts forever, that’s not going to happen.

But if you’re selling something that’s consumable, you have a better chance of getting repeat purchases.

Here’s the thing.

This is just a small sample of the Amazon selling secrets that I have up my sleeve.
